I just joined your facebook group and I’m waiting to be added. This is darqdawg by the way. Might I suggest two topics that could become as popular as this one? Sleep Paralysis and Sleepwalking. I used to have episodes of both all through my childhood. Sleepwalking ended around nine years old. However, episodes of sleep paralysis continued on occasion all the way through high school and suddenly stopped after I graduated. (Not sure what that means (¬Ĺ̯¬) ) Anyway, at one point I was having episodes twice per year. They were absolutely terrifying. I would wake up and be completely paralyzed from head to toe. I couldn’t even open my eyelids. I suspect that is the only reason I didn’t see hallucinations as have other people with this phenomenon.

Accompanying these episodes would be an overwhelming feeling of dread. I don’t think the dread just came from being paralyzed. There was this all pervasive sense that I had to wake up immediately or something terrible would happen. The only way I could break out of an episode was to struggle mightily to open at least one eyelid. If I could get one halfway open the paralysis would slowly begin to lift over the rest of my body. The only way I can describe it is having my whole body submerged in some thick viscous liquid, like tar or worse drying concrete and struggling until bit by bit I broke free. These would go on for up to five minutes. Anyway, that’s my two cents. Didn’t know you were on TuneIn Radio. I’ll be checking out the podcast.
