This is the first of your podcasts I’ve listened too,and I think it was great! Of course there’s a lot of fantastic content, but I had to tell you that I snorted iced coffee through my nose when she said “her snake glared at me.”
You have a good voice for podcasting, btw.

First, I am listening to this right now – out of order listening! I will tell you my personal experiences with the LaLaurie House, I got the creeps and would cross the street as to not walk by it…. and there is a great grocery across the street to get the best po boys in New Orleans.
My personal experience with ghost tour operators. I lived in the Marigny, one night a ghost tour went by while I was sitting on the steps, and he said that house where my apartment was a murder house … so I had to scream NOT TRUE. The house was a home for unwed mothers … in the 50’s and that’s the closest it ever came to scandal.
Now back to listening…

I’ve heard so many people talk about how they feel they have to avoid the house when they walk by!

Discovered your podcast through History goes Bump. Listened to several episodes but this is my favourite. Have book on list to purchase. One point however. Amazed the Author George Washington Cable was not mentioned, he wrote a short story in 1889 called the Haunted House on Royal Street, which gave both facts and myths of the lady and property. I listened to it on librivox (short ghost stories 8) for free and I think you can get a kindle copy free too. If you haven’t heard of it its well worth reading. Will keep listening, great podcast.
