So I spent a lot of the day improving the look of the already new Big Séance Podcast banner and iTunes cover art (coming to an iTunes near you very soon). Then, on the same day that BigSéance.com reached its 100,000th page view, I decided that the elder sister of the new addition needed a makeover–a rebranding, if you will. A graphic artist got me started (kind of), then I made huge improvements, then Joe put his amazing final touches on them this evening, and voila! Not only do they now look fresh and new, but they show off their family resemblance with pride. Clearly, the blog and podcast are developing a tight bond, like many sisters do. I may decide to tweak the looks a bit more before it’s all settled, but for now I feel really great about these! What do you think?
I thought I’d include the complete evolution of banners, starting with the original… just for fun. Anyone remember it? It makes such a huge statement, I’m not sure how anyone could forget it. (Kidding.)
You may have noticed that for the moment I’ve dropped the subtitle “my paranormal world” from the new blog banner. Does that make anyone sad? Would you protest and refuse to return if it disappeared? **Update: As you’ll see above and below, it didn’t take long for me to miss my subtitle. “My paranormal world” is back.
