I was driving through my hometown a few nights ago when I instantly realized there was a full-blown apparition of a person crossing the road up ahead. This figure seemed to have a slightly translucent glow and didn’t notice me parking the car to watch it walk into the tree line. It was 12:02am. I was so excited and amazed. Since it seemed to be a residual apparition, I decided to make an appearance around midnight the next night. Good thing there’s not a lot of traffic in this small town late at night. I waited off in a ditch near where I saw it the night before. Suddenly there it was. Silent. Full of color and detail. It was a middle-aged, African-American man with a blue jacket and a stocking cap. He was walking so lethargically (totally not a word) and without purpose. Still translucent. Still not noticing me, even though I was very near him. I was experiencing such an adrenaline rush that I forgot to pull my phone out for a picture. Actually, I did remember, but by the time I fumbled around for the right icon and waited for it to open, my picture was only of the tree line after he disappeared on the other side. I was too late. I decided to sit and wait. Maybe he would come back? It was getting cold and I was about to leave when from out of the corner of my eye I saw him. This time from the side of the street where he previously disappeared. He was coming back. It was 12:27am. He had the same look, the same lethargic walk, only this time he carried a bottle of liquor in a bag. I pulled my phone back out and got really close as he made his way to the other side of the street. I got a perfect picture. I noticed the bag had the name “Bubb’s” or “Bubba” (I couldn’t tell which) on it. I took a mental note to research the name. Perhaps a bar? A liquor store?
I woke up so excited. It took me a while to realize it was a dream and I hadn’t really captured the coolest apparition in the world. I told myself I’d work hard to remember the details, though. 🙂

You had me till the end, Patrick! 🙂 I actually think such dreams are an exercise in spirit communication. A while back, I had several dreams where I saw numbers and was able to remember them when I woke up. I think it’s all a part of testing our equipment to deliver specific information from the other side.

I hope you’re right, Lee. After my initial disappointment, I actually felt the way I do when I finish a good book and feel like I came away with something… or like you do when you leave a class and feel like you learned or accomplished something. 🙂
