Hey there! I’m not a fan of the iPad and I’m struggling to be techie. It’s annoying to feel so much older than you really are. Soo… It is taking me a while and there won’t be anything fancy.
I’ve been with my family on vacation for a few days. We’re staying in a huge and beautiful cabin in the Smoky Mountains outside of Gatlinburg in Tennessee. We’ll be here for a few days more. It has been wonderful and we’ve done quite a bit of relaxing. All of the family dogs are with us and are keeping us entertained.
The Gatlinburg strip is pretty tacky and the traffic is insane. Reminds me of Branson. We’ve been through that drama and so now we’re happy to just hibernate like bears… which I hope we never see, by the way. And don’t get me started on Sasquatch… 😉
In the next couple of days I hope to find the old village and cemetery. I’ll take some pictures and I’ll have an audio recorder with me.
If I did it correctly, you should see photos below. Hope everyone is enjoying summer (or whatever season you’re experiencing)!

I am told that it is either a blue tailed lizard or blue tailed skink?

Hope you have fun at least. Being an Apple person, I know how an iPad can suck the fun out of life, so stiff upper lip… Enjoyed the photos! It looks like just what the doctor would order for me. Bet I could find it…

Nice cabin! Hope you are enjoying your time in the great Smoky Mountains! Cherokee, NC is another cool place to visit…tourist traps are unreal, but the historical side is amazing!

Thanks, Diane! We’ve had a really nice time. Leaving in just a few hours… which means I should probably be sleeping. 🙂
