Just Say “Hue” to Remember Your Dreams…

Did YOU know that if you say HU (pronounced like “hue”) before bed it will help you to remember your dreams? Did you know it is also supposed to be helpful in curing addictions and even insomnia? Just another tidbit I learned in a Randall Keller book

I had no idea… It’s a vibration thing… and apparently it’s been around for many, many years. Where have I been? Check out this site. You can scroll down to find videos.

That is very interesting! I never knew this. I have always been so fascinated by dreaming all of my life. Especially in my childhood. I will definitely try this and have my husband try it as well. We both haven’t remembered our dreams in a while.

This served as a reminder as I had heard of this before. Without the “HU”, I generally remember at least one dream every time I wake up,and sometimes several. Throughout the day I have what I call “flashbacks” and I recall segments of the dreams I had while sleeping. The images and parts of the dreams actually “intrude” on my consciousness. I have often wondered about this. It seems to me that there is a very thin separation between my wake and sleep (unconscious?) state of awareness. I don’t know what to make of this. Any suggestions?? For instance: in the 3rd week of April a close friend of mine for 40 years passed away from cancer. A couple nights ago I dreamt that I was “swaddling” him in an upright position. He and I were talking, he was joyful, smiling. As I was wrapping him within what I would call a large comforter and pinning it closed, he let me know that he was feeling chilly and I wrapped the blanket/comforter more closely around his neck. He was pleased. I felt as though I was protecting him and “comforting” him, and I secured the blanket with large “safety” pins to keep him wrapped and warm. He was talking to me and made appreciative sounds, much like one might make while snuggling. This dream has come back to me many, many times throughout the past couple days. Care to offer an interpretation?

HU is promoted through the religion of Eckankar. You can get a recording of it here: http://www.eckankar.org/hu.html. I got the 15-minute recording, copied it to my iPhone, and sometimes play it before I go to sleep. It’s beautiful. Reminds me somewhat of a human beehive.

Ok. Going to try it right now. I’ll report back tomorrow. 😀
